MIDI, .mid, FILES: The optimal media player setting for midi files on this website is "Creative Music Synthesis".
To confirm proper player set-up, click on media player options or properties, select midi device and click or check "Creative Music Synth. Except for those midi files where it is recommended, the Wave Synthesis settings will usually deliver sub-optimal sound for the midi files on this website.

These files are much larger than midi files, however, and are subject to interruption due to internet congestion.
